Welcome to the 9th label release for PuzzleProjectsMusic brought to us by Mexican producer Fernando Arce.

On this latest two-tracker Fernando Arce takes charge, flexing his production prowess with a couple of dark, groovy tech house rollers. Fernando is an artist on the rise, joining the PuzzleProjectsMusic roster as a relative unknown but hungry, determined, and naturally talented.

His productions are polished, displaying a maturity beyond his years and a keen ear for rhythm and atmosphere to keep the dance floor locked in a groove. Dan Ros is also from Mexico, a friend of Fernando who is also a formidable force in the country’s electronic music scene. Together they’re an awesome duo.

Both producers are firmly rooted in the tech-house style, no-nonsense, growling, and minimal yet funky. Tracks that work both during a warm-up and at peak time, depending on how you work them. It’s music for the heads-down party crew, designed to pump the dance floor with energy and put an approving grimace on your face.

The ‘Trippin’ EP kicks off with the title track ‘Trippin’ (PPM0015); contagious drum programming works in tandem with a groaning bassline. It strikes the perfect balance between bouncy and moody, an electrified vocal dropping in intermittently to utter the track’s title “Trippin”. Fernando keeps the energy high, incorporating a bombastic breakdown, which is sure to send the dance floor into pandemonium.

Next up is ‘Isolated’ (PPM0016) which sees Fernando and Dan Ros team up for a techy trip into the darkside. This one has all the ingredients of a surefire club smash; dense rolling bass, a vibrant range of vocal clips and ultra-clean percussion. Like ‘Trippin’, this cut has a serious breakdown that’s guaranteed to ignite the floor.
